- Cueva del Guacharo ( Guacharo Cave ): Located on the north-western portion of Venezuela , Cueva del Guacharo is the country’s longest and most magnificent cave. Caracas Maiquetia International Airport is situated 30 kilometers from the center of the city. The airport has bureaux de change, ATMs, restaurants, bars, cafes, a wide variety of shops including a bookstore, gift and souvenir shops, cosmetics and fashion wear. Internet access, fax, photocopy service and telephones are available at the Canty Office in the international terminal. Taxis are available from the airport but only licensed taxis with a clearly identifiable number should be used. A regular bus service travels from the airport to Caracas.
Visitors can enter Venezuela through the US by taking a cargo ship from one of the ports in the Gulf of Mexico. From Lesser Antilles, there are ferry services as well.
