- Malbun-Steg: This is Liechtenstein’s pride as the premiere ski resort in the country. Located in the heart of the mountains in Liechtenstein’s southeast portion, the Malbun ski resort caters to both beginners and advanced skiers. It offers an elevation of 1,600 feet. There are two ski schools here, ideal venues in learning the skiing basics. There are daily buses from the capital to this point, as the main road of Vaduz ends here.

Three buses an hour pass by the Swiss border towns of Buchs and Sargans to the capital, while buses run every half an hour from Austria’s Feldkirch.
