Main Attractions of Bulgaria

Rita Monastery
One of the most significant monuments on the Balkan Peninsula, Rita Monastery features rich murals, icons, old manuscripts, jewelry, textiles, church treasures and a library containing thousand of books.

    The airport is located six miles east from Sofia’s central business district. Restaurants, cafeterias, bars, duty free shopping and a chemist are some facilities that Sofia Airport offers. There is also a travel agency, tourist information desk and a first aid facility. Visitors can also make use of the bank, bureau de change and ATM machines within the premises
  • Bugas Airport BOJ
    Situated seven miles from Burgas is the Burgas Airport. The airport has a bureau de change, bank, restaurant, duty free shop, post office and first aid facilities available. Taxis and local buses are available as well. Most of the flights coming in to Burgas Airport are part of a holiday package so host of these tour operators take care of them.
  • Varna International Airport VAR
    Both domestic and international flights pass through Varna Airport. It is five miles from Varna proper. The Varna International Airport has currency exchange facilities, duty free shops and restaurant. Visitors can take the public bus, which goes to Varna ‘s city centre, or taxis located on the airport.
